FAQs
What is the difference between NMC ternary and LiFePO4 batteries?
NMC ternary cells offer higher energy density, higher nominal voltage (3.7V vs 3.2V), and are more compact per kWh, ideal for EV and weight-sensitive applications. LiFePO4 offers longer cycle life and better thermal stability for stationary storage.
Do you test and match cells before shipping?
Absolutely. Every cell is tested for voltage, internal resistance, and capacity. We group cells with tight matching tolerances (≤5mV voltage, ≤0.05mΩ IR difference) to ensure optimal pack consistency.
How many cells do I need for a 44V EV battery pack?
Connect 12 cells in series for a 44V 167Ah (6.7kWh) pack. For higher capacity, parallel multiple 12S strings: 2P*12S = 13.4kWh.
Is the packaging safe for international NMC cell shipping?
Yes. Each cell is individually packed in a UN-certified carton with thick EPE foam on all 6 sides, bearing UN3480 labels. We provide full DG documentation for sea and air freight.
Can these NMC cells work in extreme cold environments?
CALB 167Ah NMC cells discharge from -30°C to 55°C, making them suitable for cold climate EV operation. Charging temperature range is -20°C to 55°C.
Do you support OEM customization and private labeling?
Yes, for wholesale orders (MOQ 5000+ cells), we offer custom laser-engraved logos on the aluminum alloy shell.
