The proprietary Smart BMS continuously monitors cell temperatures. When a charge is detected below 0°C, it diverts the current to heating pads until the battery reaches 5°C, ensuring safe power intake.
Our proprietary self-heating system uses a dual-layer safety protocol. First, the BMS measures internal cell temperatures using multiple high-precision NTC thermistors distributed throughout the battery pack. Second, if external charging equipment (such as solar controllers, alternators, or grid chargers) begins pushing current into the pack while the cells are below 0°C, the BMS redirects that energy exclusively to the internal heating elements. Once the internal temperature reaches a stable 5°C, the heating circuit is safely disengaged, and the BMS opens the charge gate to allow direct current into the cells. This seamless transition is fully automated and protects the battery's lifespan without requiring manual intervention from the RV owner.
